The House
A new miner’s cottagewith the ski mountain out the back door.
On the south side of Columbia Avenue in Telluride’s Historic Residential district, built to belong on the block: a steep front gable, lap and board siding, wood windows and a black standing-seam roof.
Inside, the plan is upside down. Kitchen, dining and a vaulted, skylit living room share the top floor, where the light and the view are. Excavation began in October 2026, and True Grit is building it from the ground up.
